About The Position

The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Services Principal Specialist to support hardware and software integration activities for the family of Patriot programs, including both development and fielded Patriot equipment within the Andover-based Patriot Labs. Requirements

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
Experience working within a test facility, depot, field, and/or engineering lab.
Active and transferable U.S. government–issued security clearance
Demonstrated proficiency with mechanical tools (e.g., power tools, hand tools)
Experience troubleshooting issues within Windows and Linux systems

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Patriot Technical Manuals and Patriot Maintenance Control System diagnostic software
Experience identifying and troubleshooting hardware issues, with clear documentation of all actions and steps taken; excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Provide technical operations and maintenance support for Patriot System hardware and software within a laboratory environment.
Assist lab users in preparing for and conducting test events.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and system issues to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate across functions to support the successful technical execution of complex integration and test events.
Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems in both field test and hardware‑in‑the‑loop environments, evaluating system functionality and overall impact.
Partner with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless system integration and functionality.
Demonstrate flexibility, responsiveness, and strong problem-solving skills to accommodate user requests while balancing daily PTFA-required activities.
