Integration/Test Engineering Intern
About The Position
This internship focuses on supporting the setup, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software systems under test. The intern will assist in loading software onto multiple devices and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of cost-effective procedures for testing and troubleshooting components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and systems. Responsibilities also include supporting the development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, test reports, test flow, and test case design and implementation. The role involves documenting testing issues and failures, analyzing test results, and supporting formal systems acceptance testing activities. Additionally, the intern will present test strategies, plans, and results to internal and external customers, and support failure investigation activities and failure review board meetings.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree, or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field at an accredited university.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of communications systems, software programming languages, automated software test, networks, network security, power systems, antennas, RF, and/or mechanical design and analysis.
- Requirements analysis and verification, software scripting and usage of automated testing frameworks and application.
