About The Position

Relativity Space is building rockets to serve today’s needs and tomorrow’s breakthroughs. The Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting the growing demand for launch capacity. Joining Relativity means becoming part of something where autonomy, ownership, and impact exist at every level. You will be solving problems that haven’t been solved before, helping develop a rocket, a factory, and a business from the ground up. Collaboration across teams, shaping decisions, and seeing your work come to life in record time are key aspects of this role. Creativity and technical rigor go hand in hand, and your voice will help define the stories we’re writing together. This is a unique moment in time to leave your mark on the product, the process, and the culture, with Terran R tangible and picking up momentum. The Stage Manufacturing team turns design into reality, owning the build of Terran R’s primary structures. This involves building the systems to build the rocket, with engineers and technicians working side by side. The team is responsible for delivering on Terran R, solving challenges in real time, optimizing for scale, and constantly improving processes. Opportunities exist to apply automation, machine learning, and advanced technologies as the vehicle evolves. What is built here sets the blueprint for the future of scaled launch. This is a 2nd shift position with a standard schedule of 3:30PM-2:00AM PT, Monday through Friday. The position is structured around a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek, which may include occasional overtime as needed to meet operational goals. The Integration technician role will play a critical role in ensuring that various components and systems of flight hardware are assembled, tested, and installed with the highest quality. The role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of aerospace processes. The ability to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to successfully build and install flight hardware is essential. Collaboration with the production team, integration engineers, and quality team to build, develop, and document job operations is expected. The primary area of focus will be the assembly, installation, and testing of flight hardware through the development and production of Terran R.
