About The Position

The Integration Subassemblies Technician II, Second Shift, plays a critical role at Relativity Space in ensuring the assembly, testing, and installation of flight hardware components and systems with the highest quality. This role requires a blend of technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a solid understanding of aerospace processes. The technician will operate within a fast-paced manufacturing environment to successfully build and install flight hardware, collaborating with the production team, integration engineers, and the quality team to build, develop, and document job operations. The primary focus will be on the assembly, installation, and testing of flight hardware throughout the development and production phases of the Terran R rocket.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment handling flight hardware and performing critical operations.
  • Possess a wide range of technical skills including fastener/torque applications, secondary retention, testing, avionics familiarity, and bonding operations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production.
  • Ability to set up and operate a wide range of hand and pneumatic tools along with calibrated tools and measuring devices.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and be comfortable working in tight spaces.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field
  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant license
  • Electromechanical build proficiency
  • Familiar with propulsion systems and components
