About The Position

The Integration Technician II role is crucial for ensuring the high-quality assembly, testing, and installation of various flight hardware components and systems. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and a solid understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes. The technician will operate within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, focusing primarily on the assembly, installation, and testing of Thrust Structure for the Terran R rocket, including secondary structures, fluids systems, avionics systems, and engine installations. Collaboration with the production team, integration engineers, and the quality team is essential for building, developing, and documenting job operations.

Requirements

2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field.
Experience working in a fast-paced production environment handling flight hardware and performing critical operations.
Possess a wide range of technical skills including fastener/torque applications, secondary retention, testing, avionics familiarity, and bonding operations.
Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production.
Ability to set up and operate a wide range of hand and pneumatic tools along with calibrated tools and measuring devices.
Must be able to climb ladders and be comfortable working in tight spaces.
Able to safely navigate and walk on uneven terrain or surfaces.
Able to frequently crouch, bend, or squat to access low-level areas or equipment.
Able to kneel to perform work duties, as needed throughout a shift.
Able to reach and extend arms overhead for the duration required to complete assembly tasks.

Responsibilities

Assemble, test, and install various components and systems of flight hardware with the highest quality.
Operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to successfully build and install flight hardware.
Collaborate with the production team, integration engineers, and quality team to build, develop, and document job operations.
Focus on assembly, installation, and testing of flight hardware through development and production of Thrust Structure for Terran R.
Work with Secondary Structures, Fluids Systems, Avionics Systems, and Engine Installations.
