The Maintenance Technician II (Second Shift - 5:00pm -1:45am) is a mid-level position responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role supports overall operational reliability by maintaining systems, minimizing downtime, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or a related field
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools, equipment, and systems
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift moderate to heavy materials as required (least 50 lbs)
  • Ability to potentially work extended hours or weekends based on business needs
  • Must own and maintain a basic set of hand tools required to perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Exposure to equipment, machinery, and varying environmental conditions

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facility systems
  • Inspect equipment and identify issues to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational problems and implement effective solutions
  • Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate service records
  • Interpret manuals, drawings, and technical documents to support maintenance activities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment performance and efficiency
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as needed
