About The Position

FirstCall Group is seeking Integration Project Managers to lead the successful transition of newly acquired companies into the FirstCall operating network. This role involves owning the entire integration process from close through the first year, working closely with acquired leadership, Regional VPs, and the Head of Integration. The Integration Project Manager will be instrumental in building a repeatable integration system that respects the unique strengths of each acquired business, ensuring they become successful FirstCall operating partners. Success in this role is visible and measurable, contributing directly to the strategic growth of FirstCall Group.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives spanning HR, Finance, IT, and Operations with measurable outcomes and deadline compliance.
  • Experience with project management practices, systems, and software applications.
  • Familiarity with stage gate operating models.
  • Ability to brief senior leadership concisely.
  • Ability to write documents that drive decisions.
  • Ability to hold owners accountable to commitments.
  • Ability to travel and spend substantial time on-site at acquired locations across the U.S., especially in the first 100 days of each integration.

Responsibilities

  • Own the year 1 integration lifecycle for new partners, including pre-close planning, administrative, cultural, and operating integration, through to project close.
  • Translate diligence findings into a comprehensive integration project plan that balances FirstCall's repeatable approach with the specific needs of each partnership.
  • Partner with functional owners to implement back-office integration (payroll, benefits, finance, safety, insurance, fleet, IT) within the first 100 days.
  • Collaborate with operations leadership to establish 3-year goals, conduct SWOT analyses, identify critical issues, and plan commercial handoffs.
  • Develop plans for the period between 100 days and 365 days post-acquisition, focusing on cultural integration, value creation, and commercial activation.
  • Track technician, leader, and customer retention KPIs against baselines and proactively address risks to ensure deal value is maintained.
  • Formally close integration projects at the 12-month mark, documenting lessons learned and ensuring a clean transition of ownership.
