About The Position

The Integration Manager is responsible for managing the onboarding and integration of new Focus Partners Wealth offices, as well as supporting the continued integration of existing offices. This role provides tailored solutions for the complex needs of newly integrated offices by collaborating with associates across the firm and, when appropriate, external partners. The Integration Manager supports operational questions, participates in onsite visits to Focus Partners Wealth offices, and serves as an escalation point for established Focus Partners Wealth teams in St. Louis and other locations. This role helps ensure short-term and project-based goals align with the objectives of transaction partners and the terms of their agreements with Focus Partners Wealth, with a focus on client retention, growth opportunities, and a seamless transition experience. The Integration Manager works closely with the Managing Director, Onboarding & Integration; Integration Directors; Advisors; Data Analysts; Advisory Teams; and Focus Partners Wealth Client Service Team Leadership while serving as a primary point of contact for offices in active integration within the Focus Partners Wealth family.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent professional experience.
  • Seven or more years of experience in wealth management, client service, operations, integration, or a related field.
  • Strong client service orientation, with the ability to build trusted relationships and deliver a consistent, high-quality experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with associates at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams, adapt quickly to change, and respond effectively to varying priorities, situations and personalities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Adobe, virtual meeting platforms, CRM tools, and core wealth management systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Five or more years of Focus Partners Wealth experience.
  • Series 65 license.
  • Experience with Orion Advisor Services, Salesforce, Fidelity, Schwab, Pershing, and related custodial or wealth management platforms.
  • Experience facilitating virtual meetings, trainings, or onboarding experiences using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership throughout the Focus Partners Wealth office integration process.
  • Deliver a high level of service and a consistent experience to teams integrating into the Focus Partners Wealth culture.
  • Provide in-depth training and support on Focus Partners Wealth tools, processes, and resources.
  • Support day-to-day integration operations for Focus Partners Wealth acquisitions, from due diligence through the acquisition date.
  • Assisting with the conversion of historical data to the Focus Partners Wealth platform.
  • Providing direct operational support for pre-close repapering requirements.
  • Providing supplemental operational support for post-close transitions to Central Portfolio Management.
  • Adapting responsibilities as needed to address the unique requirements of each transaction.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of custodial relationships with Fidelity, Pershing, and Schwab, and collaborate with the Advisory Leadership Team and Client Service Leadership to communicate operational issues and business goals.
  • Advocate for integrating teams, understand future business strategies and initiatives, and identify opportunities for improvement where applicable.
  • Manage coordination with custodian transition teams and delegate tasks across Focus Partners Wealth teams as new offices join the firm.
  • Ensure timely delivery of reports, documentation, and planning materials needed by Advisors and integration stakeholders.
  • Contribute to recurring meetings with team leaders and ad hoc check-ins focused on operational efficiency.
  • Create training and development plans for new or existing Integration team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of client communications and interactions in the CRM.
  • Maintain knowledge of current offerings, processes, and systems.
  • Travel for the position and participate in client or prospect events throughout the year, as necessary.
  • Support special projects and other duties in collaboration with Onboarding & Integration team members.
  • Assist with audit inspection information for all Focus Partners Wealth entities.
  • Perform additional departmental responsibilities assigned by the Managing Director, Onboarding & Integration.
  • Review and revise onboarding and integration programs annually and as needed for customization.
  • Support leadership development by helping others identify opportunities, consider alternative paths to objectives, and pursue growth.
