About The Position

This internship provides an opportunity to learn the product development process and apply design efforts on your own project. The intern will document design and testing, provide engineering assistance, and perform technical work that does not require previous experience. The role involves working independently and with a team, completing a summer end internship presentation, and demonstrating the guiding principles of Aerostar. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years towards a bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel is required.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, without close supervision.
  • Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Capacity to be flexible and multitask.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands on experience in manufacturing, testing, and/or lab settings are highly desired.
  • Familiarity with one or more of SolidWorks, Matlab, or Python desired.

Responsibilities
