About The Position

A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking experienced Integration Engineers to serve as a technical lead and mentor for the West Service Area field team, providing technical guidance and oversight while remaining actively engaged in hands-on technical work. The position supports the physical and logical integration of fiber-optic and IP-based circuits and coordinates technical activities associated with transitioning legacy copper and Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) systems to modern fiber and IP network infrastructure across the National Airspace System (NAS). This position will be filled in each of the following locations: Peachtree City, GA; Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; Seattle, WA; and Kansas City, MO.

Requirements

  • College degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Telecommunications, or a related discipline (or equivalent military or field experience).
  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications network engineering, circuit integration, or infrastructure planning.
  • Deep technical command of BGP, TCP/IP, MPLS, and IPv6, specifically telecommunications infrastructure for TDM-to-IP conversion.
  • Hands-on experience with optical networking (fiber), telecom network infrastructure hardware, server-level deployments, testing, validation and acceptance.
  • Proven ability to model network growth and optimize capacity during large-scale system upgrades.
  • Telecommunications infrastructure experience with ground networks, air to ground systems and technologies.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Must be a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading the technical integration side of large infrastructure initiatives; ability to apply project management methodologies to ensure delivery, compliance, and mission alignment.
  • Working knowledge of cloud networking across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support hybrid NAS environments.
  • Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with FAA BNATCS protocols or similar mission-critical government network standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration, implementation, and testing of systems supporting the National Airspace System (NAS).
  • Provide technical direction to field teams and take ownership of assigned technical and project activities.
  • Manage technical activities throughout the network infrastructure lifecycle, from planning and site preparation through implementation and final deployment.
  • Direct the migration of legacy TDM circuits to IP-based infrastructure, including circuit activation, cutover coordination, troubleshooting, and performance testing.
  • Perform hands-on configuration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, protocols, servers, and related hardware.
  • Resolve complex technical issues encountered during deployments across multiple sites and geographic areas.
  • Use operational dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), test results, and technical reports to evaluate network performance.
  • Verify that fiber and IP infrastructure meets established reliability, availability, resilience, and performance requirements for mission-critical aviation services.
  • Analyze operational and technical data to identify trends, emerging issues, dependencies, and potential performance risks.
  • Develop and recommend corrective actions to maintain successful implementation and operational performance.
  • Develop and deliver clear, actionable status reports, dashboards, technical documentation, and briefings for project stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Communicate accomplishments, risks, technical issues, and recommended next steps to support timely decision-making.
