About The Position

The Integration Engineering team supports Funnel customers with their data use cases and the integrations needed to get data into and out of the Funnel product. When a customer needs data imported from a source not covered by Funnel’s out-of-the-box integrations, the team develops a custom solution. This includes setting up custom data extraction, configuring data imports in Funnel, and troubleshooting customer issues with integrations the team has built. Integration Engineers help customers get maximum value from Funnel and regularly work with Commercial and Product Development teams.

The role is based in Funnel’s Boston office. The company values in-person collaboration, and employees work from the office four days a week. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship; sponsorship is not offered.

Requirements

• Experience writing code, gained through education or work.
• Experience in a customer-facing role; customers may be external or internal.
• Comfort working in customer-facing roles and helping solve other people’s problems.
• Drive for self-education and taking ownership and initiative in developing skills.
• Analytical mindset that considers short- and long-term challenges and sustainable, scalable solutions across business processes and code.
• Curiosity about how systems work.
• Ability to think deeply about data, including its shape, volume, model or formats, origin, destination, and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with data use cases and integrations for getting data into and out of the Funnel product.
• Create custom solutions when customers need data imported from sources not supported by Funnel’s out-of-the-box integrations.
• Set up custom data extraction and configure data imports in the Funnel platform.
• Troubleshoot customer problems with integrations built by the team.
• Work with Commercial and Product Development teams to help customers get maximum value from Funnel.
