About The Position

The Diagnostic Cardiology Solutions - Integration Consultant is responsible for the technical implementation and support of the Philips IntelliSpace Electrocardiograph (IECG) system, including the implementation and support of the Health Language 7 (HL7) and/or Digital Imaging Communications in Medicine (DICOM) interface broker, IntelliSpace Enterprise Broker (IBE). This role involves assuming technical leadership for each assigned project, sharing knowledge and technical expertise with customers and the team, and providing feedback to streamline program implementation methodology. The consultant will complete assigned project tasks as scheduled to gain customer acceptance and achieve/maintain accepted industry-level certifications through continuing education. Key responsibilities include gathering necessary network information, configuring and testing the IECG and IBE systems to meet customer requirements, implementing interfaces to/from IECG and customer’s Radiology Information System (RIS)/Health Information System (HIS), and investigating and diagnosing complex technical problems during installation until transfer to support. This is a field role, meaning work is primarily done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or a related field or 5+ years experience performing technical support/HL7 interfacing
  • 5+ years of experience in an ECG information management system or PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications Systems) system
  • Experience with Orion Rhapsody Interface broker
  • Experience with XML
  • Experience working with Virtual Machine (VM) server environments
  • Bilingual French and English skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to successfully perform the minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Assumes the technical leadership role for each assigned project and shares knowledge and technical expertise with our customers and team
  • Provides feedback/assists in streamlining program implementation methodology or implementation documentation/toolsets and may interact cross-functionally with other divisions or units to share product technical knowledge and expertise
  • Completes assigned project tasks as scheduled to gain customer acceptance and at the same time achieve/maintain accepted industry level certifications/technical competency (i.e., Microsoft Technical Certifications) through continuing education
  • Gathers necessary network information required to properly configure the IECG and IBE system
  • Configures and tests installed IECG and IBE system to meet customer requirements
  • Implements interfaces to/from IECG and customer’s Radiology Information System (RIS)/ Health Information System (HIS)
  • Investigates & diagnoses complex technical problems during installation until transfer to support
