About The Position

This is a contract position based in Shakopee, MN, focused on supporting warehouse operations. The role involves shipping and receiving products, managing inventory, picking orders, and troubleshooting issues within an ERP system. The associate will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and general upkeep of the warehouse area and assisting with other material management tasks as needed. Requirements

Some college OR technical school preferred OR equivalent related work experience
1-2 years’ experience in an automated warehouse environment using scanning/scan gun technology
Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Willingness to offer solutions for process improvements
Enthusiastic with ability to multi-task
Dependable

Nice To Haves

Prior experience using a formal ERP-type system is a plus
Previous forklift experience / Forklift certified is a plus
Previous experience with ShipExec system a plus
Any relevant certifications a plus

Responsibilities

Ship and receive product and examine product for damage
Store product according to established procedures
Assist with maintaining inventory records
Enter inventory information into ERP system
Understand and follow inventory management SOP’s
Pick orders and prepare for shipment
Troubleshoot issues utilizing the ERP system and reporting tools
Operate pallet jack, forklift, and other tools as needed
Contribute to the daily maintenance and general cleanliness of the warehouse area
Assist with other material management tasks when needed
