About The Position

The Integrated Solutions Release & Configuration Engineer serves as the subject matter expert for release and configuration management across integrated Digital Intelligence solutions. The role defines, maintains, and improves processes, controls, and technical baselines governing software, specifications, interfaces, requirements, and deployment artifacts across multiple constituent systems. Working independently and leading through influence, the engineer partners with Product Management, Program Management, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Quality, Cybersecurity, DevOps, and Field Services to support traceable, consistent, and operationally ready releases. The role provides technical leadership in release planning, configuration integrity, audit readiness, and lifecycle governance, while driving continuous improvement and organizational best practices. The position leads release and configuration management across multiple products and systems, establishes and maintains configuration baselines, and ensures traceability among requirements, system versions, interface revisions, change records, verification evidence, and deployed configurations. It coordinates change control, release readiness, integrated release plans, controlled distribution of technical artifacts, and verification that release candidates satisfy technical, quality, and compliance requirements. The role also maintains release manifests, solution Bills of Materials, compatibility matrices, configuration records, and deployment documentation; conducts status accounting, audit preparation, and configuration verification; and supports deployment authorization, rollback planning, post-release validation, and reconciliation of field changes. The engineer analyzes release, deployment, and configuration issues, leads root-cause investigations, and drives corrective actions. The role mentors project teams in configuration and release management, traceability, and lifecycle best practices, and promotes automation and process standardization. Other duties outside the function or trade may be assigned, with adequate training provided if necessary.
