About The Position

Marketing Communications (Marcom) is the creatively-led global team that oversees Apple’s consumer facing marketing. We ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications across all medias and platforms. Every day, hundreds of millions of Apple customers around the world interact with our products. We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple, engaging and inspiring marketing experiences. The Greater China (GC) team, part of Apple's global Marketing Communications team, is responsible for all consumer-facing communications, including advertising, apple.com, direct marketing, Apple retail, channel, digital commerce, packaging, video, corporate identity, and partner communications. Marcom Project Management team drives and facilitates end-to-end delivery of world class creative work. This includes resourcing, workflow and process set up, scoping, budget, and vendor relationship management, and quarterly and annual planning efforts. You will oversee the development of digital commerce communications from inception through final delivery. Partnering closely with creative and cross-functional teams, you will ensure every project is produced on strategy, within budget, and to the highest standard of excellence. You will anticipate challenges, streamline execution, and create an environment where great ideas thrive.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in creative services, project management, or production at a creative agency or marketing organization.
  • Experience managing digital production across web, mobile applications, and social platforms.
  • Knowledge of marketing communications terminology and current production methodologies.
  • Established relationships with the creative and production community in China and globally.
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English.
  • A passion for creating outstanding digital customer experiences is essential.
  • Ability to drive multi-disciplined teams forward in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Experience negotiating and communicating project requirements to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and integrate new creative talent and production partners.
  • Adaptability to shift priorities quickly and guide teams through dynamic project lifecycles.
  • Accommodate rapid change and ambiguity, and working under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, production, and delivery of integrated digital commerce projects, managing project status, approvals, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Partner with creative leadership and global stakeholders to elevate creative output, supporting ideation, alignment, and production.
  • Act as the primary contact for incoming projects, forecast staffing needs, assign resources, and onboard talent to ensure efficient execution.
  • Build and maintain a network of freelancers, creative agencies, and production vendors to enhance creative capabilities in the region.
  • Drive process and workflow improvements in partnership with Marcom Operations, and guide direct reports to deliver high-quality work.
