About The Position

This position will support the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) program under the Airborne Mission Systems (AMS) submarket. In this role, you'll assist and perform as a program planner establishing and executing the program schedule and business rhythms required to accomplish program control, analyses and forecasting objectives. Utilizing applicable project management tools, implement network logic and measurement methods to perform critical path and risk analyses. Participate and lead in program and functional meetings that support on‑going business performance requirements. Communicate schedule impacts and propose corrective actions to applicable stakeholders. Implement, maintain, and manage planning products in support of planning processes. Support independent network analyses resulting in reports and metrics. Assist with data and process quality assessments of planning products and preparation for surveillance reviews to ensure compliance with program performance management, as required. Preferred work location is Owego, NY; however, qualified candidates residing in or near Stratford, CT will also be considered.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks.
  • Demonstrated skills in the Deltek Tool Suite: PMCompass and Open Plan as well as Microsoft Project
  • Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Frequent Customer or Senior Leadership Presentation Experience
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Experiences with Schedule Performance Management Techniques, e.g. Earned Value Management
  • Experiences with networked schedules, integrity checks, and critical path methodology.
