The Integrated PreK Teacher will implement the LPS Early Childhood Curriculum for a classroom of fifteen students aged three to five, including seven students with disabilities and eight typically developing peers. The teacher, dually licensed in Special Education and Early Childhood, will work alongside a paraprofessional. This role requires making appropriate accommodations and modifications for students with disabilities and incorporating recommendations from related service providers. The educator is the primary instructional delivery person, responsible for student achievement and growth. The position is demanding, varied, and complex, requiring the teacher to be a relationship builder with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and well-trained in content knowledge and teaching strategies.
