About The Position

Freedom Pest Control is seeking a motivated team member to join their hybrid Pest & Wildlife division. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a long-term career in both pest management and wildlife control. The position involves assisting with nuisance wildlife services while training to become a licensed pest control technician. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, working outdoors, and helping customers.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, including ladders, traps, equipment, and materials
• Ability to work safely on ladders and around homes/buildings
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and stay organized

Nice To Haves

• Experience in pest control, wildlife control, construction, roofing, or general labor

Responsibilities

• Checking, opening, closing, rebaiting, and maintaining wildlife traps
• Monitoring wildlife activity and documenting findings
• Assisting with humane wildlife control and exclusion services
• Learning basic pest control inspection and treatment procedures
• Training toward state pest control licensing requirements
• Completing service reports and documenting IPM recommendations
• Communicating professionally with customers
• Working independently and as part of a team
• Maintaining company equipment and vehicles
• Following all company safety and compliance standards
