About The Position

The Integrated Mental Health Provider-MB (I) works collaboratively with primary care providers to engage pediatric patients and their families in behavioral health interventions that support optimal health and wellbeing for patients. The Integrated Mental Health Provider conducts comprehensive assessments, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools, to assist in creating behavioral health care plans that target treatment for the developmental, psychological and social problems that disrupt optimal health and wellbeing in childhood. The Integrated Mental Health Provider works with patients and families to create treatment plans that address mental health concerns, trauma, environmental and caregiver safety, child abuse and neglect, grief and loss, behavior management and parenting skills. In addition to providing direct behavioral health intervention to pediatric patients and their families, the Integrated Behavioral Health Provider assists families in connecting with services and providers in the community that address social determinants of health. The Integrated Mental Health Provider partners with physicians, schools, law enforcement, Children’s Administration, community mental health providers and other service providers in the community to ensure well-coordinated care across the health care continuum.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) OR a Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or related field
  • Licensed in the State of Washington with one of these credentials (must obtain licensure within six months of hire date) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), SW Independent Clinical Lic (LICSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Minimum three (3) years post MSW/MA
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (includes RQI)
