About The Position

Unrivaled is looking to hire an Integrated Marketing Specialist to help drive the day-to-day execution of our game, broadcast, ticketing, player, and local-market marketing efforts. The ideal candidate understands sports marketing, moves quickly, communicates clearly, and thrives in an environment where priorities can change based on ticket sales, player storylines, broadcast needs, and what is happening around the league.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in sports, entertainment, media, live events, consumer marketing, or a related field.
• Strong experience managing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Exceptional project-management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, stakeholders, and deliverables simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of sports marketing, ticketing, broadcast promotion, and digital/social media.
• Comfortable working with data and using performance metrics to make marketing decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities can change quickly.
• Willingness to work around live events, including nights and weekends during the Unrivaled season and Tour Stops.

• Experience working with athletes, talent, agents, networks, venues, or live-event partners is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage joint marketing timelines, briefs, asset requests, approvals, and deliverables.
• Maintain a shared promotional calendar across Unrivaled.
• Track TNT promotional support against Unrivaled's key games, storylines, and season priorities.
• Ensure TNT has the creative assets, player information, storylines, schedules, and other materials needed to effectively promote broadcasts.
• Identify opportunities to increase promotional support around priority games and major league moments.
• Provide internal visibility into upcoming TNT marketing activity and commitments.
• Manage venue co-promotion across Tour Stop markets.
• Develop and maintain market-by-market promotional calendars tied to ticket-sales objectives.
• Coordinate with venues, local promotional partners, sports commissions, tourism organizations, community organizations, and other market stakeholders.
• Work across paid media, social, email, PR, players, community outreach, and local partnerships to support ticket sales.
• Monitor ticket-sales velocity and work with the broader marketing team to adjust promotional activity when a market is behind plan.
• Ensure local marketing efforts remain consistent with the overall Unrivaled brand and national campaign.
• Manage the player marketing calendar across game promotion, ticketing, merchandise, league tentpoles, announcements, and other priority initiatives.
• Coordinate creative assets, copy, links, posting instructions, and other materials for players.
• Work closely with Basketball Operations and player representatives to coordinate requests and simplify the process for players.
• Track player participation and proactively follow up on outstanding deliverables.
• Help balance league promotional needs against the overall volume of requests being made of players.
• Manage the execution of select paid player marketing collaborations.
• Track the effectiveness of player amplification and identify opportunities to improve participation and performance.
• Build and manage the promotional calendar leading into each game.
• Coordinate execution across social, players, website/app, paid media, email, PR, broadcast, ticketing, and partner channels.
• Ensure tune-in messaging, creative assets, calls-to-action, player narratives, and game storylines are ready well in advance of game night.
• Work with Content and Social teams to identify the strongest narratives for each matchup.
• Identify priority games that warrant additional marketing investment or promotional support.
• Develop and maintain a repeatable Game Marketing Playbook that establishes the planning cadence for every game while allowing flexibility around breaking storylines and major moments.
• Help create a culture in which every game has a clear reason for fans to watch.
• Develop a weekly marketing scorecard covering ticket sales, tune-in promotion, player participation, paid media, email, social, and local-market activity.
• Track promotional execution against established KPIs.
• Analyze which marketing tactics are most effective at driving ticket purchases, awareness, engagement, and tune-in.
• Conduct short postmortems following priority games and Tour Stops.
• Translate results into actionable recommendations for upcoming games and markets.
• Identify executional gaps early and escalate issues before they impact major league priorities.
