About The Position

The Strategic Communications (SC) team is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer Lead. This role involves managing and leading the ILS team for programs in both development and sustainment. The lead will be responsible for proposal activities, including cost and technical volumes, and will work with teams to influence design for supportability early in development. Collaboration with other Engineering disciplines and Program Management to solve logistics-related technical problems is key. The position also requires customer interface support, reviewing program and customer requirements, and identifying areas where the team can support customer goals. The lead will also generate and present customer-level briefings.

Requirements

  • Experience in Logistics Engineering disciplines
  • Proposal Lead / Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead experience
  • Detailed knowledge of ILS concepts – Logistics Support, Technical Manual/Training Material Development, Reliability/Maintainability, FRACA, Safety/Human Factors Engineering
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Depot standup, Technical Manual, Training Curriculum Development and Conduct, Provisioning, and Computer Based Training (CBT) development
  • Certifications for Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Basis of Estimate (BOE) development
  • Active SECRET or TOP SECRET security clearance
