About The Position

The Manager of Integrated Health Operations – Client Access is entrusted with the oversight and management of administrative and operations functions in CCH’s health services or program access locations, focusing on delivering high-quality, client-centered care to vulnerable populations. This role requires a seasoned leader who excels in managing diverse teams across multiple sites. The ideal candidate possesses a deep commitment to the underserved and homeless communities, coupled with the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics, including collaboration with medical staff, senior leadership, and other departments. Their leadership will ensure the smooth operation of integrated health services and the consistent delivery of compassionate care. Develops and manages administrative systems that continually improve the integrated operating environment at the new Integrated Stout Street Health Center.

  • Proven track record of managing a team of 10+ employees across multiple locations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in health operations and/or practice.
  • HIPAA Trained or possesses proficient knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations
  • Understanding of community health clinic operations.
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license and eligibility for CCH auto insurance coverage required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field.
  • Experience with or understanding of insurance enrollment and billing in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience managing front desk operations, customer service teams, or insurance enrollment specialists.
  • Prior experience in a multi-site operation is a strong plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Experience working with under-served or high-needs populations, particularly in a healthcare or non-profit setting.
  • Understanding of Excel and budget/accounting data helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, mentor, and supervise staff reporting to this role, fostering an inclusive workplace culture that supports continuous improvement in performance and service delivery. Direct reports include front desk staff, Client Access Coordinators, and insurance enrollment staff.
  • Manage the daily operations of scheduling, insurance verification, and checking in patients for appointments for Medical, Behavioral Health, Dental, Psychiatry, Nursing, and Case Management schedules.
  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate regular team meetings.
  • Coordinate integrated health services, scheduling, referral, and registration processes to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Collaborate with integrated health services managers to evaluate staffing patterns and ensure adequate coverage across all service locations.
  • Facilitate clinic flow, perform flow studies, and solve logistical and staff coverage issues as they arise.
  • Maintain and oversee the phone-tree system for their area of oversight.
  • Implement a quality assurance program to monitor call-in lines and manage the registration and scheduling functions within the practice management system.
  • Work closely with Clinical Directors, Managers, and other leaders to ensure provider schedules meet patient demand, maximize access, and effectively utilize support staff.
  • Partner with the Revenue Cycle staff to maximize reimbursement efficiencies.
  • Warmly welcome clients and assist with direct registration as needed, ensuring a respectful and supportive interaction.
  • Participate in CCH Quality Improvement initiatives, utilizing data to improve operational efficiency and address service gaps.
