About The Position

Lead Inflammation & Immunology TA evidence strategy and delivery by integrating IEP, RWE/Epi, patient-centered research, and cross-functional execution to maximize product, medical, regulatory, access, and patient impact. Own TA integrated evidence strategy and execution across the product lifecycle. Connect IEP, RWE/Epi, patient-centered research, external research, and study delivery. Partner with TA Medical teams, TA Research Units, the CMO organization (Regulatory, Safety, DS&A, Medical Enablement & Quality, Legal/Compliance, and Research Units. Champion innovations in evidence generation, methods, and AI/ML. Accountable for quality, timeliness, efficiency, and strategic value of evidence deliverables. Build internal/external partnerships and measure impact through metrics, scorecards, and operating frameworks.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree required: MD, PhD, MS, or equivalent in Epidemiology, Outcomes Research, Medicine, Public Health, Statistics, or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of relevant pharmaceutical, academic, medical, or evidence-generation experience; 15+ years preferred for enterprise/portfolio leadership.
  • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary scientific teams in complex matrix environments.
  • Experience shaping evidence strategy and delivering late-phase, post-approval, RWE/Epi, or integrated medical evidence programs.
  • Knowledge of regulatory evidence expectations and engagement with FDA, EMA, MHRA, or other global agencies preferred.
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States.

  • Shape and execute enterprise-wide strategy, providing visionary leadership and sound judgment to drive business performance and long-term impact.
  • Establish external and internal scientific leadership in RWE, epidemiology, evidence generation, and data science innovation.
  • Influence critical decisions across global functions and external stakeholder groups, including regulators, HTAs, payers, experts, and strategic partners.
  • Build and sustain organizational capability through exceptional talent leadership, succession planning, and development of diverse teams.
  • Ensure operational excellence by fostering a culture of accountability, agility, innovation, and trusted leadership while delivering measurable outcomes.
