The Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Clinician is an independent practitioner who is licensed or registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences or Board of Psychology (licensure preferred) who provides behavioral health services in a health care setting. The Clinician provides collaboration and consultation as an integrated member of the care team. The IBH Clinician provides brief, solution-focused interventions to address health behaviors, mental health symptoms, and psychoeducational needs. The clinician may also provide provide crisis interventions, team trainings, and other clinical services within their scope and experience. IBH Clinician contributes equally to the patient care teams through huddles, case consultation, patient advocacy, mental health education, and collaborative team meetings with medical staff.
