Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to gather and assess information accurately and efficiently.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field such as legal studies, communications, or business is preferred.
• Previous experience in a legal environment, customer service, or medical field is highly desirable.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus, depending on the firm's client base.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for potential clients, answering inquiries and providing information about the firm's services.
• Conduct initial interviews with prospective clients to gather detailed information about their injury, accident circumstances, and potential legal claims.
• Collect and organize relevant documents such as medical records, accident reports, and witness statements to support the intake process.
• Accurately input client information and case details into the firm's case management system.
• Evaluate the viability of potential cases based on the information gathered and firm guidelines, and refer qualified cases to attorneys for further review.
• Maintain regular communication with prospective clients during the intake process, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and providing updates on case status.
• Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff to ensure a smooth transition from intake to case management.
• Provide empathetic and professional support to individuals during what may be a stressful and challenging time in their lives.
• Ensure that all client interactions and data handling comply with legal and ethical standards.
