Intake Specialist
About The Position
Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is seeking an Intake Specialist for its Sacramento office. This role is responsible for assessing applicants for eligibility for ACRC services, ensuring adherence to ethical, clinical, practical, and professional standards. The Intake Specialist will guide applicants and their families through the intake process within specified timelines, determine if an applicant should undergo the assessment process, complete Social Assessments, make recommendations to the Eligibility Review Team, maintain all relevant records, communicate decisions to applicants/families, and transition applicants to community resources and/or to a Client Services Unit.
Requirements
- A bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work or a closely-related field.
- One year of human services work experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of the Clinical interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to apply, interpret, and apply relevant laws, regulations, requirements, and policy standards.
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Good time management and organization skills.
- Valid Driver License.
- Automobile liability insurance.

Responsibilities
