This role will be a combination of on-site in Wallingford, CT and remote. The Intake Specialist is responsible for a variety of administrative non-clinical duties and support services for the Intake department. This includes, but is not limited to, data entry, obtaining initial authorization, insurance verification, faxing, filing, and monitoring department supplies. The specialist will process referrals, complete full data entry of referrals, obtain and verify insurance information, and request initial authorization for Home Health and Hospice admissions.
