About The Position

The schedule for this position will be overnight from approximately 6pm to 6am and include weekend shifts. Training will take place during an early dayshift position for a minimum of the first 2 weeks. This role submits physician orders and coordinates schedules with the needs of the facilities and ordering physicians.

Responsibilities

• Assigns and manages daily orders in a timely fashion to ensure required turnaround time.
• Sends images to the appropriate teleradiology group based on facility needs.
• Communicates with patient and facility concerning rescheduling of exams or delays.
• Reports and documents all critical findings.
• Answers multi-line telephone and provides information in a professional manner.
• Ensures that all routine and stat exams are processed in the designated timeframe with appropriate facilities/physicians.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
