About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with eighteen locations across seven states. Offering the very highest standard of medical and clinical treatment, our services span every level of care - including detox, residential, PHP IOP, and outpatient services. The Intake Nurse will manage the complete medical intake process to ensure a seamless transition into treatment, complete all nursing shift duties such as vitals, drug screens, scheduling appointments and lab work, coordinate pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, keep accurate med logs, collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams for total coordination of care, and ensure complete, timely and accurate medical documentation for each client.

Requirements

Current RN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
Strong written and oral communication skills
Detail-oriented, withy ability to multitask and work efficiently
Compassionate and dignified character which models recovery principles

Nice To Haves

Experience in substance use disorder (SUD) and/or behavioral health settings strongly preferred, with demonstrated understanding of recovery-oriented care and patient-centered support.

Responsibilities
