About The Position

The Intake Coordinator is responsible for managing the intake process for home health services. This role requires strong assessment and communication skills, particularly in challenging situations. The position is full-time, working the first shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a rotation for holiday coverage.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute care required.
• Possesses strong assessment skills.
• Possesses strong communication skills in adverse situations.
• BLS certified.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• ICD coding for Home Health preferred.
• Marketing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the intake process for home health services.
• Assess patient needs and communicate effectively, especially in adverse situations.
• Handle holiday rotation coverage.
