About The Position

The BridgeWay is currently seeking a Receptionist/Intake Clerk to join our team! As a representative of The BridgeWay, all comments, attitudes, actions, and behaviors have a direct affect on the hospital’s image and perceptions of quality service. Interaction with patients, physicians, referral sources, affiliate schools, guests, visitors, volunteer workers, co-workers, supervisors, vendors, etc. must be in a manner that is friendly, supportive, courteous, respectful, cooperative, and professional. This behavior should promote an atmosphere of teamwork, which is congruent with hospital standards and guidelines to promote positive relations.

Requirements

Current CPR certification or must obtain within three (3) weeks of date of hire.
Current Handle with Care (HWC) certification or must obtain within three (3) weeks of date of hire.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Excellent communication skills required to communicate orally in a clear, concise manner with employees, physicians, administration, the medical staff, and the public.
Proficient computer skills to operate Intake technology.
Effective interpersonal skills required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in switchboard operations preferred.
