About The Position

Wellstone Regional Hospital, a 100-bed acute care facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana, has been providing quality healthcare to Southern Indiana and Louisville since 2003. It specializes in treating Adolescents, Children, and Adults, offering both in-patient and out-patient programs. The hospital is seeking Intake Clinicians for PRN (as needed) shifts, including weekends and weekdays. The Intake Clinician facilitates service requests, provides resource referrals, assesses patient/family clinical needs, and interacts with managed care organizations, external reviewers, and other payors. Requirements

Graduate Degree in Social Work, Mental Health/Behavioral Sciences, or related field and/or currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the state of Indiana
Experience in patient assessment, referral, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities
Completion of CPR course and completion of CPI prior to working independently

Nice To Haves

Minimum of two years experience in direct clinical experience in a psychiatric/mental health/chemical dependency setting
