Intake and Requirements Specialist
About The Position
This role involves engaging with government and contractor stakeholders to collect, clarify, and validate user needs. The specialist will translate business, functional, and mission requirements into clear, actionable technical requirements aligned with enterprise data platforms. The position supports end-to-end intake processes, ensuring requirements are complete, testable, feasible, and traceable. Collaboration with data engineers, developers, and product owners is key to ensure proper implementation within an environment leveraging Databricks and enterprise data capabilities. The role also includes maintaining requirements documentation, workflows, and change logs, facilitating requirement walkthroughs, acceptance criteria development, and readiness checks for delivery teams. Monitoring requirement implementation progress and supporting defect triage by validating alignment with documented needs are also core responsibilities.
Requirements
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements for data-centric platforms.
- Experience working in fast-paced delivery environments with evolving stakeholder requirements.

- Prior experience supporting government programs.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment supporting government‑site and contractor‑site teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate mission needs into technical specifications.
- Ability to support requirements workflows integrated with Databricks-based data pipelines and analytics.
- Experience interfacing with both contractor-site and government-site stakeholders.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools used for requirements management (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Experience supporting data engineering or analytics programs built on Databricks.
- Ability to create process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.
