Intake and Assessment PRN- LPC or LCSW
About The Position
Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in Independence, MO is actively hiring a PRN Admissions and Intake Clinician. This role is critical in helping individuals and families access timely behavioral healthcare services while ensuring high-quality clinical assessment and admissions decisions. There also might be times that you will be helping out with the units and leading groups. The facility is expected to open in the second half of 2026 and will serve children and adolescents, adults and seniors with innovative and evidence-based inpatient behavioral healthcare focused on individual needs and comfort. The hospital will span more than 88,000 square feet and include an activity yard and gym.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling
- LCSW or LPC through the state of Missouri
Nice To Haves
- Experience in behavioral health, assessments, crisis intervention, and admissions preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments
- Evaluate patients for appropriate levels of care and admissions criteria.
- Perform crisis intervention and risk assessments
- Coordinate and collaborate for all necessary information with physicians and other staff
- Helping out with the units and leading groups
