This position serves as an Intact Services Specialist within the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). The role involves providing follow-up to parents and families to ensure they are connected with appropriate service providers. The specialist will offer immediate oversight to families seeking non-investigatory prevention services and will refer them to neighborhood and community resources. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining case documentation for service planning, implementation, and evaluation, as well as preparing statistical and narrative reports. The specialist will collaborate with other Departmental units to achieve positive outcomes and service provision for non-child abuse/neglect matters, such as prevention services, dependencies, court supervision, and runaways. The position also entails performing other duties as required or assigned that fall within the scope of the listed responsibilities.
