About The Position

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for an Airframe Test Integrator to join our Materials & Process engineering team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada). You will be part of the Airframe team responsible for developing, defining, planning, and executing test strategies to support certification activities, production, and aircraft deliveries. The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively. Your role as Airframe Test Integrator will be to support design, stress, and materials groups in conducting essential test campaigns for the aircraft program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in airframe engineering or aerospace testing.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple technical projects autonomously in complex environments.
  • Solid technical understanding of aerospace material and structural qualification/certification processes.
  • Advanced language skills in both English and French (written and spoken).
  • Multidisciplinary mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork, active listening, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a focal point across the entire testing lifecycle, from “test need” initiation through to final test results and conclusions.
  • Develop test strategies, integration plans, and test procedures aligned with technical and certification requirements of the various Airframe groups.
  • Coordinate test execution by acting as the direct liaison with test houses and local laboratories.
  • Establish strong relationships with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, program management, procurement, quality, suppliers) to deliver test evidence.
  • Provide test cost estimations, scheduling, requirements traceability, and reporting of results to various audiences.
  • Conduct quality reviews during test execution (ensuring proper documentation, failure analysis, and appropriate means of re-testing).
  • Support Procurement in Call for Tender activities when adding new laboratory service providers to the portfolio.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of test means, processes, and standards by embedding lessons learned and adopting best practices from international counterparts through strong collaboration and knowledge sharing.
