About The Position

The Integrator is responsible for ensuring the installation of cabin mechanisms and equipment within the aircraft while ensuring that all installations comply with customer specifications and engineering requirements. This role involves reading and interpreting engineering drawings, integrating various components into test aircraft, and implementing design changes in the aircraft's Digital Mock-Up (DMU) using CATIA. The Integrator will also act as a technical liaison with suppliers, review and approve deliverables, manage engineering changes, plan workload, and support certification activities. A key aspect of the role is to understand and apply AS9100 quality management standards and the company's Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent field of study or experience.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5 design and 3D modeling software.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong teamwork and effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrated sense of responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing workloads and priorities.
  • Proven adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach and strong initiative.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in supplier management is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and design documentation.
  • Ensure the integration and installation of cabin mechanisms on the aircraft production line.
  • Integrate various components and systems into test aircraft during development phases.
  • Implement design changes in the aircraft Digital Mock-Up (DMU) using CATIA.
  • Serve as the technical liaison with cabin system and equipment suppliers.
  • Review and approve engineering deliverables and technical documentation.
  • Manage engineering changes related to in-service issues and product improvements.
  • Plan and prioritize workload in accordance with engineering objectives and project schedules.
  • Provide technical support for certification activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements and specifications.
  • Research technical documentation and specifications when not provided by the customer.
  • Perform root cause analysis and develop effective solutions to technical issues.
  • Understand and apply the requirements of the AS9100 quality management standard relevant to the position.
  • Follow the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and use the appropriate quality tools while performing assigned tasks.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.
