About The Position

Dependable Health Services is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Insurance Verification & Scheduling Coordinator to join our Tucson Home Health team. This position plays an important role in keeping patient care running smoothly by verifying insurance coverage and coordinating patient visits with our home health clinicians. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, communicating with patients and clinical staff, and managing multiple priorities throughout the day. This is a 100% in-office position in Tucson and is not a remote role.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage prior to services
• Contact insurance carriers and utilize payer portals to confirm benefits and authorization requirements
• Obtain and track required insurance authorizations
• Accurately enter and maintain insurance, demographic, and authorization information in the EMR
• Coordinate and schedule home health visits based on patient needs, clinician availability, and geographic coverage
• Communicate with nurses, therapists, aides, and other clinical staff regarding schedules and changes
• Contact patients and caregivers to coordinate visits
