About The Position

The Insurance Specialist completes follow-up on denials and no response claims.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must maintain accuracy with increased work volume
• Must be flexible with overtime and schedule changes to accommodate departmental needs
• Must have good attendance and punctuality
• Must be able to get along well with fellow employees

Nice To Haves

• Solid knowledge base of CPT and ICD-10 codes
• Previous experience working multiple payors including BCBS, UHC, Medicare and Medicaid denials and appeals
