About The Position

NuSureCo Insurance Company, Inc. and sister company, Monarch Sky MGA are looking for Sales Agents to join our growing team in Houston. The primary responsibility of this insurance sales role is to generate new clients and build relationships for our insurance products and services. We are unique in that we are a carrier and MGA so you will have numerous options and choices when placing business.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, business development, and/or insurance distribution
  • Strong written and verbal communication and relationship building skills
  • Comfortable with direct outreach to prospective agency partners and presenting to audiences of varying sizes
  • Ability to prospect, qualify opportunities, and develop new business relationships
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a performance driven environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn insurance products and underwriting guidelines
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a growing, fast-paced sales environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Ability to manage schedule and workload to meet sales objectives

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through prospecting, marketing, and lead generation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with independent insurance agents and brokers
  • Meet or exceed established sales activity KPIs
  • Qualify prospective agency partners and opportunities
  • Initiate contact with prospective agents and develop relationships
  • Present Monarch Sky products and solutions to prospective agency partners
  • Develop proposals and assist agents with quoting and placing business
  • Complete fact-finding interviews to identify coverage opportunities
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities within existing agency relationships
  • Participate in training, calls, meetings, and presentations as needed
  • All other duties as assigned
