About The Position

This role involves selling available varieties of Insurance and memberships that the Auto Club Group (ACG) offers. Duties may include rating insurances as requested by customers, accurately processing new insurance policies and memberships, and attending training classes to stay updated on new coverage and products. The position requires developing and maintaining positive working relationships with clients, insurance company personnel, and agency employees, as well as documenting client contact and activities in the Insurance management system. A key aspect of the role is developing and maintaining a client prospect file and promptly following up on all leads and requests. Sales agents are expected to meet or exceed minimum quarterly sales requirements and abide by ACG rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license.
  • Current Life Insurance Sales license.
  • Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
  • Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable as deemed necessary and within a time frame established by the Business Unit.
  • Customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer automated business environment.
  • Knowledge and ability to rate all lines of insurance sold by ACG.
  • Knowledge of AAA membership types, products, and services.
  • Ability to interpret and understand terms and language relating to various types of insurance.
  • Ability to learn and operate insurance software functions and applications.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with others.
