About The Position

AAA – The Auto Club Group is hiring Insurance Sales Agents. This full-time, hourly position offers a base pay plus incentives and full benefits. The role is suitable for individuals who enjoy helping people, building relationships, and earning through performance. AAA provides training, tools, and support for success. This role offers stability and room for growth without requiring individuals to run their own business or rely solely on commission. The position involves owning the sale and ongoing service of ACG-branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within a high-traffic ACG branch. Agents will leverage sales methodologies and insurance expertise to uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain clients, and grow the insurance portfolio. Key activities include overcoming objections, negotiating, closing sales, meeting sales targets, conducting insurance reviews, quoting and binding policies, engaging in community events, building rapport with members, responding to inquiries, and identifying cross-sell opportunities.

Requirements

  • Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license or the ability to obtain before hire
  • Active State Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year(s) of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer automated business environment (i.e., financial/banking)

Responsibilities

  • Own the sale and ongoing service of ACG-branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within a high-traffic ACG branch.
  • Leverage proven sales methodologies and insurance expertise to uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain existing clients, and grow ACG’s insurance portfolio.
  • Consistently overcome objections, negotiate effectively, and close sales while maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Drive performance by meeting and exceeding individual sales targets and incentive plan expectations aligned with branch and company goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to assess risk, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions; quote, bind, and issue policies in accordance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Actively engage in local branch and community events to prospect, expand referral networks, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong rapport with members and clients to ensure high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and trust in the AAA brand.
  • Respond to customer inquiries with a high level of professionalism and urgency across insurance, membership, and financial products.
  • Identify and execute cross-sell and referral opportunities into Travel and Financial Services lines of business to maximize overall member value.
