About The Position

This is a relationship-driven sales role with long-term income potential through commission and renewals. AAA – The Auto Club Group offers ramp-up earnings support during the first months as you grow your pipeline and book of business. Success in this role comes from consistent outreach, strong follow-up, community networking, and building trust with clients. The role involves owning the sale and ongoing service of ACG-branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within a high-traffic ACG branch. It requires leveraging proven sales methodologies and insurance expertise to uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain existing clients, and grow ACG’s insurance portfolio. The agent will consistently overcome objections, negotiate effectively, and close sales while maintaining long-term client relationships. Driving performance by meeting and exceeding individual sales targets and incentive plan expectations aligned with branch and company goals is key. The role also involves conducting comprehensive insurance reviews to assess risk, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions; quoting, binding, and issuing policies in accordance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements. Active engagement in local branch and community events to prospect, expand referral networks, and develop new business opportunities is expected. Building and maintaining strong rapport with members and clients to ensure high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and trust in the AAA brand is crucial. Responding to customer inquiries with a high level of professionalism and urgency across insurance, membership, and financial products, and identifying and executing cross-sell and referral opportunities into Travel and Financial Services lines of business to maximize overall member value are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
  • Active State Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
  • Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable as deemed necessary and within a time frame established by the Business Unit.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year(s) of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer automated business environment (i.e., financial/banking)
