Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability and willingness to meet clients in person throughout the Omaha area
- Ability to obtain a Nebraska health and life insurance license
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfort discussing financial and healthcare-related subjects
- Professionalism, integrity and respect for confidential information
- Willingness to learn, accept coaching and consistently follow a proven system
- Self-motivation and the financial readiness to begin a 1099, commission-based career
Nice To Haves
- An active Nebraska insurance license is helpful but not required to apply.
Responsibilities
- Meeting face-to-face with prospective and existing clients
- Learning about each client’s health, financial and retirement concerns
- Explaining Medicare, life insurance, long-term care, annuity and retirement income solutions in clear, understandable language
- Comparing available options from multiple insurance carriers
- Helping clients complete applications and enrollment paperwork
- Building lasting relationships through attentive follow-up and ongoing service
- Developing new business through company programs, referrals, community involvement and professional networking
- Participating in hands-on insurance sales training, coaching and professional development
- Maintaining accurate client records and following all industry and compliance requirements
