About The Position
As an Insurance Product Analyst, you will specialize in the design and implementation of wealth protection and wealth transfer strategies for high net-worth clients. Goldman Sachs Ayco Financial Counseling (Ayco) partners with Fortune 1000 companies to design and implement tailored financial planning programs for their workforce. Ayco advisors and technical specialists help clients achieve their personal financial goals through education and guided implementation across seven key financial disciplines, including employee benefit planning. The Wealth Strategies Group (WSG) provides risk management solutions in support of advisors and clients across all segments of Goldman’s Wealth Management business. We are on a journey to transform, modernize and scale the business, which currently generates over $1.4B of Life, Annuity and Long-Term care new business premiums on an annual basis. Our planning focused practice currently has 56 team members operating in 7 wealth management offices across the county.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team oriented, client-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft products: Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree preferred
- Active life and health insurance license preferred
- Series 6 or 7 registration preferred
Responsibilities
- Understand various estate, trust, and retirement planning concepts unique to Ayco’s high net-worth clients
- Partner with marketing associates to determine appropriate product selection to meet client objectives
- Serve as an internal resource to account management teams through enhanced knowledge of the industry and product offerings
- Develop and maintain customized Excel spreadsheets to illustrate financial concepts
- Interface with various associates to facilitate task and project completion
- Utilize internal systems to monitor and record product changes and provide client-facing presentations
