About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through tailored insurance and financial solutions. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, and training on products designed for educators. The role involves developing a client base and building an independent insurance practice, with access to established books of business, value-added services, networking opportunities, and a comprehensive multi-line product portfolio. The position offers performance-based compensation as a 1099 producer, including enhanced commissions, a 36-month incentive plan, monthly sales-volume incentives, quarterly production bonuses, and a sign-on bonus. Earnings are uncapped, and top performers may qualify for all-expenses-paid trips. Work may take place in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. A mentor agent provides support and accountability.
