About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through insurance and other tailored solutions. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent, hands-on industry experience, training, and support while building and growing an independent business. The role serves a niche market with established books of business, value-added services, streamlined sales processes, networking opportunities, and a comprehensive multi-line product portfolio. The position offers performance-based compensation as a 1099 producer, including enhanced commissions, a 36-month incentive plan, monthly sales-volume incentives, quarterly production bonuses, a sign-on bonus, and uncapped earning potential. Work may be performed in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. The producer is guided by a mentor agent and is responsible for investing time and resources in the success and growth of their business.

Ability to obtain or currently hold state Life & Health and Property & Casualty licenses.
