About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through tailored insurance and financial solutions. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent and hands-on industry experience, with training and support to build a business serving educators. The role offers access to established books of business, a niche market, value-added services, streamlined sales processes, networking opportunities, and a multi-line product portfolio. The position uses performance-based 1099 compensation, including enhanced commissions, a 36-month incentive plan, monthly sales-volume incentives, quarterly production bonuses, and a sign-on bonus. Earnings are uncapped, and top performers may qualify for all-expenses-paid trips. Work may be performed in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting. A mentor agent provides guidance and accountability.

Requirements

Ability to obtain or currently hold state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
