About The Position

Horace Mann is hiring an Insurance Producer to help educators address financial challenges through tailored insurance and financial solutions. The producer receives mentorship from an experienced agent and hands-on industry experience, along with training and access to products designed for educators. The role involves building and managing a business, developing a client base, and connecting with prospective clients through presentations, community events, and networking. Work may be performed in person, in the field, and/or from an office setting.

Compensation is performance-based under a 1099 arrangement, with a 36-month incentive plan, enhanced commissions, monthly sales-volume incentives, quarterly production bonuses, and a sign-on bonus. Earnings are uncapped. Producers can leverage established books of business while building their own practice and use value-added services, a niche market, and a multi-line product portfolio. A mentor agent provides support and accountability.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain or currently hold state licenses in Life & Health and Property & Casualty.
