Requirements

FL 2-20 License
1 - 3 years of experience in a similar position
Minimum education required
Proficient with MS Office Suite & Excel
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Responsibilities

Evaluates the customer’s current coverage compared with the quotes received through the insurance marketing process
Develops carrier relationships and negotiates with underwriters and brokers to obtain the best terms, conditions, and pricing from the insurance marketplaces to facilitate the successful placement of customer insurance programs
Reviews market response to fashion the most appropriate insurance program for recommendation to the producer
Oversees the accurate and professional creation of our customer proposal for use by the producer
Finalizes sold programs and binds coverage with selected carriers
Demonstrates clear knowledge of commercial insurance coverage and standard industry offerings
Stays up to date with the appetite, coverage, programs, and guidelines of property/casualty insurance carriers
Ensures the professional quality and proper presentation of our submissions to the market
